the cover is black and red sans the beautiful artwork in japanese ink that i had planned it’s here on my site for the few. i do not usually delve into famous people lives but the idea of mason gap singing from marilyn’s point of view in the first person was attractive to me as an artist.

this whole project has been a total joy and at times emotional not that I walk around in tears - country music has given me a safe place for my sorrow - but marilyn’s story looked full of bravery to me and perhaps not the picture that has been fabricated by hollywood.

the way the word “creamy’ is used in how to marry a millionaire is a scene stealing masterpiece not lost on a songwriter like me always looking for a good word or line.

how important the actors studio was to her at the time it came into her life, to be in the rooms or walk the floors where your mentors have walked and did the talk before you is huge for an artist. For me it was taking the stage at “the Whiskey” and “The Roxy” back in the day. I sang on the same wooden floor at the old whiskey as did ‘the doors’ and ‘ronstadt’ and all the great’s of as prince said “The Golden Age Of Music’.
